I wish Mega Man had been that color in the Captain N cartoon. Then the sparks really would've flown.

I don't quite understand...is it that he'd more closely match Captain N's color scheme?

No, because if people didn't like Blue and Green Mega Man, they'd probably get even more fired up over fiery red Mega Man. Incidentally, I recently learned that the Captain N character designer based Mega Man on what he looked like on his TV. It sounds like he was playing the game on a TV whose color tone was a bit off.

Yeah, I barely remember Capn N's version of Mega Man (he & Kid Icarus were so crummy/minor characters, mainly reduced to having different pig-latin-esque speech problems)...but I DO remember his crappy "gray-green/not-good blue" duds, the poor sucker!
