In my journey of obscure Nintendo game playage, I've come across a number of
glitchy pictures. Usually this glitchiness is due to my picture-taking program, and not present in the actual game. But there have been a few games where the broken-ness is present in the game itself.
Join me now as I try to fix the two most broken video game cutscenes I've come across:
NES Wrath of the Black Manta's ending:
Boufant! But I'm thinking his face-sprite is actually position too low.
Hmmm; how not-low should it not go?
Much better!
Well, sort of.
(but I think that's right, because the two gray spots near his hairline are now in his eyebrows)
Spider-Man and the X-Men in: Arcade's Revenge's intro cut scene:
Yeah...
Cyclops's chin
Spider-Man's back
...and Storm's lipstick smudge.
The moral of the story? It's just good that all those superhero graphical glitches didn't spoil a great game!
